What you need
  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
  • A GitHub account.
  • To be an active member of your organization in Govlin: an administrator adds you or sends you an invitation.

Your Code Stays Local

Govlin sends Git metadata over HTTPS, never file contents or diffs. Change impact is computed on your machine.

Signed Updates

Check and install signed releases from Settings → System, on the Stable or Beta channel.

Nothing Lost Offline

When the server cannot be reached, events wait on your machine and are sent when the connection returns.

Installation

SHA-256 published
1.Download the .exe installer.
2.Run it. If Windows shows a SmartScreen prompt, follow the on-screen steps.

3.Open Govlin and sign in with GitHub: the app shows a code you confirm on github.com.
4.If you are a member of the organization you land in the Action Center. If not, ask an administrator for an invitation or an access key.
